My stay at La Quinta Lake Shore in Chicago this past weekend was a mixed experience. The rooms, while equipped with convenient amenities like a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, were a bit challenging to cool down entirely due to the size when using the AC. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional with the night attendant going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was fantastic, close to downtown and the lakefront area, offering easy access to various attractions. However, the dining options left much to be desired, mainly limited to basic choices like cereals and muffins.
